Matthew joined Blackstone Moregate 2012 after they acquired Financial Planning for Women, whom he had joined in 2007. Prior to this he worked for a leading financial services company and, prior to that, a firm of independent financial advisers. He has been working in the profession since graduating from university with a first class BA honours degree in Financial Services.
Matthew holds the Financial Planning Diploma, which is the benchmark qualification to provide financial advice, and is continuing with his studies in technical areas (such as pensions). He also holds the specialist pension transfer qualification AF3. In addition to pensions, he has a detailed knowledge on financial matters on divorce and is a specialist on ethical investments.
Away from work he loves spending time with his young family. His hobbies include reading, cycling and other sports. His next personal goal is to learn sign language.
